The news represents a good sign in terms of stability and solidity for a sector that contributes 8.5% of the country's total GDP, and which presented a difficult outlook at the beginning of last year due to the difficult economic situation of the country and the various travel warnings issued by different countries, mainly the United States.

The investment in tourism infrastructure, Mexico's economic opening to new markets and the construction of Mexico City's New International Airport are factors that encourage optimism of the country's industry, which aims to reach the goal of 60 million visitors a year in a near future.
