The New TripAdvisor

TripAdvisor, the technological giant of the online travel reviews, announced the relaunching of its website – mobile and desktop version–, which will seek to offer a user experience similar to that of a social network platform. According to TripAdvisor CEO Steve Kaufer, the main objective of this refresh is to build "the most personalized and connected travel community" ever, allowing users and brands to interact more directly with each other.
The purpose of the increased interaction between brands, travel industry professionals and conventional users is to bring together all the participants of the travel experience in one place, and thus create an integral experience that facilitates the planning process for users. Among the new functions and features of the site are the following:
Creating content from personal profiles, where you can share images and videos of travel
Follow up of influencers and brands associated with the tourism industry.
Feed news and events with a format similar to other social networks, where the user can have all the content related exclusively to travel in one place.
